Smart Barber Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Smart Barber application and services provided by Raut Tech Private Limited. By creating an account, continuing to use Smart Barber, or accepting the photo-upload rules, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Accounts And Eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, keep your access secure, and use Smart Barber only where permitted by applicable law. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
2. Service Use
Smart Barber helps customers discover shops, join queues, book services and home visits, and helps owners and employees manage shop operations. Availability, queue estimates, prices, services, and appointment information may change and should be confirmed with the relevant shop.
3. Photo And User Content Rules
You may upload profile photos, shop covers, and gallery photos only when you own the content or have all necessary permission and consent to upload and display it.
You must not upload content that:
- is illegal, sexually explicit, exploitative, threatening, harassing, hateful, or violent
- depicts a person without appropriate consent or violates privacy or publicity rights
- is false, deceptive, misleading, or impersonates another person or business
- infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights
- exposes confidential information, personal contact details, credentials, or sensitive records
- contains malware or is intended to disrupt or abuse the service
- otherwise violates Google Play policies, applicable law, or these terms
By uploading content, you grant Raut Tech Private Limited a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, resize, display, and distribute that content only as needed to operate and promote the relevant Smart Barber profile or shop within the service.
4. Visibility, Reporting, And Moderation
Shop cover and gallery photos, and owner or employee profile photos, may be visible to other Smart Barber users. Users can report photos they reasonably believe violate these terms.
We may review reported content, restrict access to it, remove it, preserve necessary moderation evidence, warn the uploader, or restrict or terminate accounts for violations. We may act without prior notice when reasonably necessary for user safety, legal compliance, or service integrity.
Do not submit false, duplicate, or abusive reports. Reporter identity is not disclosed to the uploader through the moderation notice.
5. Shop And User Responsibilities
Owners and employees are responsible for keeping shop information, services, prices, availability, and photos accurate. Customers must use booking, queue, rating, and reporting features honestly and must not interfere with shop operations or other users.
6. Account Suspension And Deletion
We may restrict or terminate access for violations, fraud, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. You may request account deletion in the app or through the account-deletion page. Data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Service Availability
We work to keep Smart Barber reliable, but the service may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. Smart Barber does not guarantee that a shop will accept or complete every queue entry, booking, or home visit.
8. Changes
We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
